level 4 release


level 4 has been released. likely the last one before the submission period ends.

fixed a nasty visual bug accidently released on the last update: that the tile swapping y coordinate got mixed up and started to randomly replace background tiles. this also destroys the Hud as well. how this was fixed was instead of putting the y coordinate through an equation I put a solid variable. the other fix is sometimes the after-dialog reset had improper coordinates I made sure each room had proper coordinates.

this boss is slightly more difficult from the last one. this still has impact with the player lowers its health but does 2 damage to you (no more free, ko.s from touching the boss). unlike the last one this has three phases. phase 1 is chase the player. after 20 seconds it enters phase 2 in which it stops to prepare for stage 3 which it enters after 20 seconds.  phase 3 will throw projectiles at the player at a rate of 3 per second. after 20 seconds it will re-enter phase 1. the reason the first boss had a free ko was because they were embarrassed by accidentally touching an inappropriate area. (he is very not good at combat and just about anything can remove his willingness to fight). the new boss is not worried about this and is actually trying to kill Peryil.

this chapter has major horror story vibes.

be careful the last area of chapter 4 has an instakill section but there is more than enough warning to avoid it.
